Budgam, Nov 5,: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Ravinder Raina on Wednesday took a sharp dig at his political opponents during a public gathering in Budgam, questioning their loyalty and respect towards their own party leaders and representatives.
Addressing the gathering, Raina said that a person who has been elected three times as an MLA from the Budgam area and now serves as a Member of Parliament deserves due respect from his party colleagues and supporters. “Those who don’t respect their own party’s senior leader and their own MP, how will they respect the people of Budgam?” Raina asked, drawing applause from the crowd.
He urged people to judge leaders by their actions and consistency rather than slogans or temporary alliances. Raina said the BJP believes in accountability and service, and that genuine leadership is about standing by both party principles and the people who elect them.
The gathering, attended by local BJP workers and supporters, also saw Raina outlining his party’s vision for Budgam’s development and improved governance. [KNT]
