Jammu, Sep 13,: Police on Saturday seized a drone from a forward village close to the Line of Control (LoC) in the Akhnoor sector, officials said.
The drone was recovered from a field in Fattu Kotli village of Garkhal area following a tip-off.
Officials said the matter is being investigated to ascertain whether the drone had infiltrated from across the border or was being used locally to film a marriage function.
The recovery has prompted heightened scrutiny in the border belt, where such incidents have raised security concerns in the past. [KNT]
