
Srinagar, Sep 12,: Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) officer Mubashir Amin has been selected for the prestigious Chevening Award 2025–26, a UK government scholarship programme that offers future leaders the opportunity to study in the United Kingdom.
Amin, a 2013 batch officer, will be pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Policy at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, starting in September 2025.
An engineering graduate by academic background, Amin has over 12 years of experience in the state civil services. During this period, he has served in various capacities at the cutting-edge level of governance, contributing to public administration and policy implementation in Jammu and Kashmir.
Officials described his selection for the Chevening Award as a recognition of his professional capabilities and commitment to public service. [KNT]
