Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Moulvi Umar Farooq Inaugurates New Hattrick Outlet In Kawdara, Downtown Srinagar “Local and High-Quality Food is Kashmir’s Need of the Hour”

Srinagar: A new branch of the famous Hattrick Foods was inaugurated in the Kawdara area of downtown Srinagar by Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir, Moulvi Umar Farooq. The event was attended by several dignitaries including Chowdhary Group Chairman, Showkat Chowdhary, Director Shawaan Chowdhary, Peer Ghulam Hassan, outlet owner Farooq Ahmad, along with Zahoor Ahmad Peer, Fayaz Ahmad Peer and a large gathering of locals. To mark the occasion, sweets and other food items were distributed among the participants, adding to the festive atmosphere.

The new outlet offers a wide range of bakery items, sweets, fast food and other delicacies, promising to bring high-quality products closer to the people of downtown Srinagar. With its modern setup and emphasis on hygiene, the outlet is expected to become a hub for families and youngsters alike, further strengthening Srinagar’s growing food culture.

On this occasion, Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir, Moulvi Umar Farooq, praised the initiative and said “This is a good initiative by the Chowdhary Group. In recent times, we have seen how the quality of items available in the market, such as meat, has become less reliable. Today, it is very encouraging that people can now get fresh, local and high-quality products right here in Kashmir.”

Chowdhary Group Chairman, Showkat Chowdhary, while speaking to the media, said “We have established dozens of Hattrick outlets across Jammu & Kashmir, along with one in Delhi. The purpose of these outlets is not just to serve food, but to build trust by ensuring quality, hygiene and accessibility for everyone. Our vision is to give people the best of taste and service, without compromising on health and safety standards.”

Outlet owner, Farooq Ahmad, expressed his gratitude and commitment “It is an honor to be associated with the reputed Chowdhary Group and to bring the Hattrick brand to the Shahr-e-Khaas area of Kawdara. This outlet is not just a business but a responsibility to serve people with honesty. I am committed to maintaining the quality and service standards that people expect from us.”

Director of Chowdhary Group, Shawaan Chowdhary, emphasized the group’s mission “Our goal is to expand further and make Hattrick a household name in every corner of Kashmir. With each outlet, we want to assure people that they are getting the best quality and taste, made locally with care. At the same time, we aim to create employment opportunities for Kashmiri youth through our ventures.”

The inauguration was warmly welcomed by the local community with many residents expressing joy over the availability of hygienic and locally produced food items in their own neighborhood. Elders present at the event praised the Chowdhary Group for their contribution to Kashmir’s economy, while youngsters showed excitement for the new variety of food choices.

The launch of this outlet marks yet another milestone for Hattrick, which over the years has become synonymous with trust, quality, and innovation in Kashmir’s food industry.
