Mason Dies After Being Trapped Under Debris in Samboora Pampore

Srinagar: A mason lost his life after coming under the debris during the demolition of an old structure at a shrine in Samboora area of Pampore on Wednesday.

Reports said that while workers were engaged in dismantling the old shrine building, one of them came under the debris and sustained critical injuries. He was immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital Pampore, however doctors declared him brought dead.

The deceased has been identified as Manzoor Ahmad Mir, a resident of Tahab, Pulwama.

Authorities and locals later reached the spot, while police have taken cognizance of the incident. [KNT]
