Srinagar: In a warm and uplifting message to the citizens of Srinagar, Commissioner SMC, Dr. Owais Ahmed, IAS, has extended his heartfelt greetings on the auspicious occasion of Shab-e-Qadr, also known as the Night of Power. This sacred night, which commemorates the first revelation of the Holy Quran to Prophet Muhammad (SAW), serves as a profound moment for reflection, prayer, and spiritual renewal.

Dr. Owais emphasized the extraordinary significance of Shab-e-Qadr, highlighting its value as a night that surpasses a thousand months in blessings. “Shab-e-Qadr is not just a night of individual devotion; it is a time for collective worship and unity,” he stated. “Let us use this occasion to come together as a community, fostering a spirit of peace and harmony.”

In a bid to enhance the spiritual experience for residents, Dr. Owais has initiated vital measures to ensure a clean and serene environment throughout Srinagar.
