4 people killed, 8 others injured as tempo vehicle falls into gorge in Reasi

Jammu: At least four people were killed and eight others injured early Tuesday when a tempo vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road and rolled down into a deep gorge in Reasi district, officials said.

A police official told GNS that the tempo vehicle from Jammu to Bagankote fell into a very deep gorge, apparently after the driver lost control over it. Four people died on the spot and eight others were injured in the accident, the official said. The injured were immediately shifted to hospital by local volunteers, police and allied field agencies.  However, the official said that the health condition of the injured was not immediately known.
