1 Dead, 6 Others Injured In Doda Road Accident

Jammu: At Least one person was killed while six others were injured after their vehicle met with an accident near Fafri area of Doda district on Saturday.

Officials told GNS that an ECO vehicle bearing registration number JK06A-6642 skidded off the road near Fafri area and fell deep down.

In this incident one person was killed while as 6 others were injured who have been identified as Irfan Ahmed (40), son of Gh Rasool Butt, Nazim Butt (Deceased 18/19), son of Mohd Yousif Butt, Mozim Shafi (18/19), son of Mohd Shafi, Mubashir Hussain (18/19), son of Mohd Yousif, Adil Hussain (30), son of Mohd Sabir, Ashiq Ali (16/17), son of Riyaz Ahmed — all residents of Dhival Ghundna and Yasir Hamid (18/19), son of Abdul Hamid — resident of Massri Ghundna.

All the injured have been shifted to GMC Doda treatment.

Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up.(GNS)
