Handicrafts & Handloom Dept felicitates women trainees on Int’l Women’s Day

Srinagar: Highlighting the role of women in promotion of hand-made crafts, Handicrafts and Handloom Department, Kashmir, today organised a function here today to coincide with the International Women’s Day.

The function was organized by Assistant Director, Handicrafts, Srinagar, Mohsina Irshad and attended by Chief Designer, Amina Asad, and women trainees across various blocks of Srinagar.

During the function, 04 women artisans and entrepreneurs shared their success stories to inspire the trainees.

Later, certificates of appreciation were also distributed amongst the participants in recognition of their contribution in the craft sector.
