Large Gathering Observed as thousand throng Jamia Masjid Srinagar on First Friday of Ramadan

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Emphasizes Self-Reflection, Spiritual Growth, and Connecting with Allah
Srinagar: A large gathering of worshippers was observed at the historic Jamia Masjid Srinagar on the first Friday of the holy month of Ramadan. Speaking on the occasion, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq highlighted the immense significance of this blessed month, emphasizing that it provides a profound opportunity to connect with Allah.
Mirwaiz stressed the importance of Taqwa (piety and consciousness of Allah), stating that by embracing it, we can transform ourselves into better individuals and collectively build a better society. He urged the congregation to utilize this holy month for self-reflection, spiritual growth, and acts of righteousness.
The gathering witnessed an atmosphere of devotion and spirituality, with worshippers deeply engaged in prayers and supplication.
