BJP objects to NC MLA’s remarks on PoK

Jammu: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday sought expunging of remarks that facilities in the areas of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) are better. The remarks were made by a legislator of the National Conference.

During question hour, as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), NC MLA from Trehgam said that facilities in the areas of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) near the Keran sector in Kupwara are better.

He made the remarks while asking supplementary questions during the question hour.

BJP legislator RS Pathania stood up and demanded that these remarks be expunged from the records of the Assembly—(KNO)
