Police arrested one drug peddler and recovered Contraband Substances

Sopore :In continuation of its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Sopore Police have arrested one drug peddler and recovered Contraband Substances from his possession.
A police party of Police Station Panzalla led by SHO PS Panzalla Insp. Manzoor Ahamd, during naka checking at Panji Colony Rohama, apprehended one person namely Nazir Ahmad Lone S/O Ghulam Nabi Lone R/O Shalkote Rohama Rafiabad.
During the search Police Party was able to recover 42 grams of contraband charas like substance from his possession.
In this regard, case FIR No. 08 under relevant sections of Law has been registered at Police Station Panzalla & investigation has been initiated.
Sopore police urges the common masses to give information regarding narcotics or any other crimes to the nearest police establishment or dial 112.
General Public is requested to cooperate with police in curbing the menace of drugs from the society. We reassure the community members that police will act tough against the criminals as per the law.
