Chairperson DDC B’la reviews developmental scenario in subdivision Uri

Baramulla: The Chairperson, District Development Council (DDC) Baramulla, Safina Beigh today chaired a meeting at Officers Club Uri to review the progress of ongoing projects pertaining to various sectors and schemes in the Subdivision, Uri.

The meeting was attended by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Uri, Javaid Ahmad, Tehsildars, Block Development Officers (BDOs), Assistant Executive Engineers (AEEs), and representatives from the Public Works Department (PDD), Public Health Engineering (PHE), and Roads and Buildings (R&B), among others.

During the meeting, the chairperson conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the progress made in ongoing projects and reviewed the milestones achieved in their execution across the Uri Subdivision.

Speaking during the meeting, the DDC chairperson emphasized the importance of ensuring that all developmental works are completed within the stipulated timelines without compromising quality.

Safina Beigh further instructed the officers to ensure completion of targets and utilization of 100% of funds to avoid any fund lapse and exhorted all the officers to maintain transparency and accountability in the execution of works.
