02 DRUG PEDDLER ARRESTED IN AWANTIPORA: 1 KG CHARAS RECOVERED.

Awantipora /Continuing its drive against drug peddlers, Awantipora Police arrested two drug peddlers at Panzgam crossing Awantipora. The arrested drug peddlers have been identified as:

(1)Ghulam Mohammad Wani S/O Late Assadullah Wani.

(2) Mushtaq Ahmad Dar S/O Mohammed Ramzan Dar both resident of Ladermud Awantipora.

Both drug peddlers were arrested when the duo were moving in suspicious circumstances near JK Bank Panzgam.

01 Kg of contraband substances suspected to be charas (in shape of sticks) was recovered from the possession of arrested persons.
Case FIR Number 09/2021 under relevant sections of NDPS stands registered at Police Station Awantipora.

General Public of Awantpora, Tral , Pampore and Khrew are requested to come forward with any information regarding drug peddlers in neighborhood area. Persons found indulging in drug peddling will be dealt strictly
