GOC White Knight Corps, CIF Delta review security situation in Kijai Doda Sector of J&K

Doda, Dec 10,: The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps, accompanied by the GOC of CIF Delta, visited the Kijai area in the Doda sector to assess the prevailing security situation.

Defense sources told the news agency Kashmir News Trust that the high-level visit focused on reviewing the operational preparedness of the troops deployed in the Chenab Valley, which has witnessed heightened security concerns. During the visit, the GOCs interacted with soldiers on the ground and conducted a thorough evaluation of the current security protocols in place.

Sources added that the GOC, White Knight Corps lauded the commitment and dedication of the soldiers. “Your steadfast commitment to duty is commendable. As we face dynamic security challenges, maintaining the highest levels of professionalism and operational readiness is paramount,” the GOC remarked during the visit.

Both GOCs expressed confidence in the ability of the troops to effectively tackle any threats, assuring full support from the higher echelons of command. [KNT]
