CRPF man allegedly commits suicide in Shopian

Shopian: A CRPF man posted in South Kashmir’s Shopian district allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle on Tuesday.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a CRPF personnel shot himself dead with his own service rifle at Horticulture farm Zainapora.

He has been identified as Param Veer of 178 Battalion.

He added that further investigation has been taken up to enquire the matter and reasons behind taking this extreme step—(KNO)
