Double Killing Case: NIA Attaches House of Accused in Srinagar

Srinagar: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has attached a two-storey residential house in Srinagar’s Zaldagar area, linked to the killing of two non-locals in February this year. The house, built on 10 marla land, belongs to Adil Manzoor Langoo, who is currently in detention.

Langoo is an accused in FIR No. 08/2024, registered by Police Station Shaheed Gunj, which was later handed over to NIA for further investigation. The case pertains to the murder of two non-locals on February 7, 2024, at Shalla Kadal, Karfalli Mohalla, Habbakadal, Srinagar.

The NIA team carried out the attachment on Wednesday morning.

Notably, in February this year, militants shot dead two non-local men from Punjab- Amritpal Singh and Rohit Mashi in the Shalakadal area of Srinagar. After the attack, police had arrested several suspects. [KNT]
