DLSA Budgam celebrates ‘National Education Day’

Budgam: As part of a calendar of activities issued by J&K Legal Services Authority, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Budgam celebrated National Education Day in collaboration with the Government Boys Middle School, Budgam.

The event was held under the direction of Om Prakash Baghat, Chairman, DLSA Budgam.

This event, besides marking a significant milestone in the promotion of education, also aligns with the ethos of the National Educational Policy, recognizing the fundamental right of every child to receive quality education.

The theme of this year’s National Education Day-2024 is ‘Building a Brighter Tomorrow through Education.’

The speakers said that the need is to develop an education system so that the youth of our country do not need to go abroad and the middle-class families need not to spend lakhs and crores of rupees.

In a bid to fortify the commitment to education, DLSA Budgam has joined hands with Government Boys Middle School, Budgam to amplify the impact of educational initiatives and foster an environment where learning is not just a right but a celebrated privilege.

At the heart of this collaboration is the recognition that education is not just a privilege but a fundamental right. The right of every child to receive quality education is enshrined in the constitution, and initiatives like these reaffirm the commitment to making education accessible to all.
