Ratan Tata had borrowed some money from Amitabh

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has said that late industrialist Ratan Tata borrowed some money from him to make a phone call.
Sony Entertainment Television’s quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 recently featured Farah Khan and Boman Irani as guests. During the episode, Amitabh narrated an anecdote related to the late industrialist Ratan Tata. He admired Ratan Tata a lot. Amitabh said, “Whether they were humans, I can’t tell.” He was a very simple man. Once it happened that we both were going to London in the same plane. Landed at the airport. Now the people who came to get them must have gone and did not see them.
Ratan Tata went to the phone booth to make a call, Amitabh said. I was also standing outside. After some time he came and said, Amitabh, can I borrow some money from you? I don’t have money to make a phone call.
