PoK Will Soon Be Integrated with Jammu Kashmir, Says Ashok Koul

Srinagar: BJP general secretary for J&K, Ashok Koul, stated that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) will soon be integrated with Jammu and Kashmir and India.
He noted that in the past, J&K experienced shutdowns, but now people in Jammu and Kashmir are witnessing development and progress.
Koul while speaking to reporters at Srinagar, said that a resolution has been passed in Parliament regarding the merger of PoK with Jammu and Kashmir. “BJP will pursue this,” he while referencing the abrogation of Article 370, which integrated Kashmir fully with India under one constitution.
Regarding recent attacks, he said that these acts aim to disrupt the peace in the region, while security forces are actively countering these threats. In response to Farooq Abdullah’s statement about not engaging in talks with Pakistan until it ceases terrorism in J&K, Koul said that Abdullah’s position aligns with the BJP’s long-standing stance on the issue.—(News Vibes of India)
