Ahead of Sheikh-Ul-Alam Urs, Bukhari urges admin to ensure adequate arrangement for the devotees

 

Srinagar: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari has urged the administration to ensure adequate arrangements for devotees attending the annual Urs of Hazrat Sheikh Noor-ud-din Noorani, Sheikh-ul-Alam (RA), at his revered shrine in Charar-i-Sharief. The Urs, beginning on October 28 and concluding on October 30, is expected to draw thousands of devotees.

In his statement,  Altaf Bukhari said, “The auspicious occasion of the annual Urs at the revered shrine of Hazrat Sheikh Noor-ud-din Noorani, Sheikh-Ul-Alam (RA), in Charar-i-Sharief is approaching, and, as usual, thousands of devotees are expected to visit the shrine. The administration must ensure that all necessary arrangements, including electricity, drinking water, and transport, are adequately provided for the devotees.”

“Also, providing uninterrupted electricity and water supply to the concerned localities, as well as maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in and around the sacred site, is of utmost importance,” he added.
