Drug Free Kashmir Awareness on Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan held under National Action Plan for Drug Demand Reduction

Budgam: A mega awareness camp was held  by SANKALP Hub for Empowerment of women Mission Shakti Budgam Department of Social Welfare Budgam at GHS NS Pora,GHSS Wadwan and GHSS Humhama

The  team shed light on the alarming rise of drug abuse, particularly among the youth, in both urban and rural areas of Budgam. The speakers emphasized the need for a collective societal approach to combat the issue, highlighting the role of families, educators, and local institutions in preventing drug use.

The participants were urged to remain vigilant about the growing threats posed by narcotic substances and to actively support individuals at risk. Speakers stressed the importance of community-level interventions, early detection, and the integration of rehabilitation programs for those struggling with addiction. The event concluded with a strong call to action for the entire community to unit.
