Patiala Court New Delhi extends Er Rashid’s bail till Oct 28

Hope to see permanent bail for our party chief soon: Inam un-Nabi

Srinagar: Much to the relief of Awami Itehad Party (AIP), the Patiala House Court in New Delhi extended the bail of Er Rashid, the Member Parliament for Baramulla Lok Sabha constituency up to October 28.
AIP chief spokesman Inam-un-Nabi wrote on X that “The interim bail of Er Rashid has been extended up to October 28 byte h Patiala House Court, New Delhi. We are hopeful about permanent bail to Er Rashid soon.”
The Baramulla MP was released on September 11 after remaining in New Delhi’s Tihar Jail for five and-a-half years. He was arrested in connection with terror-funding case. Er Rashid was granted bail till October 4 earlier, that was simultaneously extended up to October 15 (today).
Post election results and the lifting of Model Code of Conduct.  Er Rashid started extensively travelling to the North Kashmir Parliamentary constituency to review the pace of developmental projects. He is also visiting hospitals and meeting people for the immediate redressal of their issues.
