Jammu GRP recovers ganja worth lakhs from Kathua Railway Station

Kathua:  The railways police Jammu have recovered ‘ganja’ worth lakhs from Kathua railway station, a senior police officers here said on Friday.

He said that the Jammu GRP team has recovered seven-kg ‘Ganja’ like banned narcotic substance worth Rs 7 lakh market price.

Accordingly, a case under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station GRP Kathua and investigation initiated.

Thorough investigation is underway to dig out the backward and forward linkages of source of the banned drug.

This is the ninth case of seizure of banned drugs made by GRP Jammu in the last two months, he said adding that the market price of the do far seized banned drugs is worth Rs 1.4 crores.
