Security tightened in Jammu Ahead of PM Modi’s Rally at Maulana Azad Stadium

Jammu: Security has been intensified in Jammu as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to arrive tomorrow to address a large Bharatiya Janata Party rally at Maulana Azad Stadium.

In preparation for the high-profile event, the venue has been sealed, and security forces have taken control of the stadium to ensure safety during the VVIP visit.

BJP leader Kavinder Gupta told KINS that they are expecting over one lakh people to attend the rally. “There’s a lot of excitement among the public, and we believe this rally will show our strength in Jammu,” he said.

With the third and final phase of polling scheduled for October 1, the BJP is relying on the rally to mobilize voters in Jammu district, a traditional stronghold for the party.

This phase includes key constituencies like Jammu East, Nagrota, Bishnah, and R.S. Pura, where the BJP aims to secure victory.

“The energy from the first two phases has been incredible, and we are confident PM Modi’s presence will give us the final push in this election,” said another senior BJP leader.

The security arrangements are expected to be extremely tight, with comprehensive measures in place to ensure the smooth conduct of the rally and safety of the participants.

With over 12 lakh eligible voters in Jammu district, the stakes are high for the BJP as it looks to secure victory in the crucial final phase.
