PM Modi, LG, HM and Principal Sec SED Extend Greetings on Teachers’ Day, Honouring Dr. Radhakrishnan’s Legacy

Srinagar:Today, September 5th, marks the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a renowned educationist, and former President of India. To honour his legacy, Teachers’ Day is celebrated across the country to recognize the tireless efforts of teachers who shape young minds and inspire future generations.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a X post said, “Best wishes on #TeachersDay, an occasion to express gratitude to all teachers who shape young minds. Tributes to Dr. Radhakrishnan on his birth anniversary.”

Meanwhile, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha in a X post said, “Greetings and warm wishes to all teachers on Teachers’ Day. I express my gratitude for their dedication to the growth of humanity. Tributes to the great educationist & former President, Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Ji on his Janm-Jayanti. His life & works continue to inspire generations.”
“Teachers are the true architects of the nation and shaping the destiny of our country. A teacher plays many roles simultaneously by instilling creativity, curiosity, team-work, leadership qualities and civilizational values of harmony, brotherhood and compassion in our children.” he added further.
Home Minister Amit Shah also extended his greetings, saying, “On #TeachersDay, I bow to all the teachers who not only build the lives of their students but also make invaluable contributions to building a great nation.”
“On the Jayanti of Bharat Ratna, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, I bow to the former President of India and extend my heartfelt greetings to all our hard-working teachers,” he added.
