Srinagar: The grand Mufti of Jammu and Kashmir, Mufti Nasir Ul Islam on Wednesday said that the Rabi-al-Awwal moon was not sighted tonight and the sacred month will commence from Friday.

“As we welcome the blessed month of Rabi’ al-Awwal, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the entire Muslim Ummah.
