Expenditure Observers for Srinagar District  inspect Offices of ROs of Hazratbal, Khanyar and Zadibal

Also take stock of facilities at DECR, MCMC and Media Centre

Srinagar: Expenditure Observers for Srinagar District for General Elections to Legislative Assembly-2024, Capt. Pradeep Shoury Arya and Subodh Singh Friday visited Offices of Returning Officers(ROs) of 19- Hazratbal, 20-Khanyar and 24-Zadibal Assembly Constituencies of Srinagar District.

The Expenditure Observers also inspected District Integrated Election Control Room, Media Certification & Monitoring Committee(MCMC) and Media Centre established here at DC/DEO Office Srinagar.

The inspections were aimed to ensure that all arrangements are in place and functioning effectively to facilitate a transparent and efficient electoral process.

During the inspection, the Observers took stock of the arrangements made at ROs Offices,  Election Control Room, Media Certification & Monitoring Committee(MCMC) and Media Centre.

On the occasion, the Observers stressed the Officers and other staff to ensure all requisite facilities for smooth  and seamless conduct of the Assembly Elections.

The Observers emphasized the importance of ensuring transparency, efficiency and strict adherence to the election guidelines. They also interacted with the officials, providing them guidance to ensure a smooth and fair electoral process.

The Observers were briefed on the arrangements made so far, assuring that all necessary measures are in place to facilitate a free and fair election.
