DIG North Kashmir Conducts Security Review and Pays Tribute to Martyrs Ahead of Assembly Elections

 

Kupwara: Maqsood-ul-Zaman, DIG of Police North Kashmir Range, visited Kupwara district to assess security arrangements for the upcoming assembly elections. He chaired a comprehensive review meeting with senior officers, including SSP Kupwara Shobit Saksena, COs of BSF and CRPF, and other officials.

The meeting focused on meticulous planning, inter-agency cooperation, and strategic deployments to ensure a safe and smooth electoral process. DIG North Kashmir emphasized the importance of maintaining law and order and upholding the integrity of elections.

Additionally, he convened a crime review meeting to discuss investigative strategies, case updates, and inter-agency coordination. He also visited the family of martyr SgCt Amir Hassan, who lost his life in the line of duty, and paid his respects.

Furthermore, DIG North Kashmir met with Major General Mohan Nair, GOC 28-DIV, to strategize plans for synergized operations and maintaining peace and security in the region ahead of the elections.
