20-year-old scooty rider killed in Ganderbal road mishap

Ganderbal, Dec 26 : A 20-year-old scooty rider was killed on Saturday in a road accident near Qamaria Ground in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the scooty rider identified as Faizan Ahmad Para son of Shamim Ahmad Para, a resident of Beehama was critically injured when a speedy tipper hit him near Qamaria Ground on today afternoon.

He said that Faizan was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

The official further said that police have taken cognisance of the matter and further investigation has been taken up—(KNO)
