SSP Baramulla chairs introductory cum election preparedness meeting

Baramulla: SSP Baramulla, Gurinderpal Singh (IPS) chaired an introductory meeting with all GOs, SHOs, DOs and IC SOG camps through video conferencing.
Professional conduct, enhancement of police-public relations, security of minorities and vulnerable members of society, effective investigation and disposal of cases, particularly those related to the drug crimes and crime against women was emphasised.
In preparation for the upcoming Assembly elections, SSP Baramulla directed officers to ensure smooth, free, and fair elections.
The briefing aimed to outline the security protocols, coordinate the deployment of forces, and highlight the importance of adherence to the Election Commission of India’s guidelines. Emphasis was on the critical role of all officers in maintaining the integrity of the electoral process and ensuring that every citizen can exercise their right to vote in a safe environment.
