PM Modi has given new confidence to J&K: Chugh

Says Abdullahs, Muftis must stop playing in hands of cross border mentors

Srinagar: BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh Thursday said that there is a new found confidence and optimism in J&K after the implementation of various development policies and programmes launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Addressing a series of gatherings in the region, Chugh launched an offensive on Abdullahs and Muftis for conniving with across the border forces to spread unrest in the valley.

Chugh said the entire J&K has a big contribution to make and a stage has come when a new sunrise is going to happen.

Chugh said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have taught a lesson to former Chief Ministers Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti by giving them a crushing defeat. He emphasized that Jammu and Kashmir must move ahead on the path of trust and development under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.

Chugh condemned Pakistan’s attempts to spread fear and violence in Jammu and Kashmir, stating that they will not be tolerated. He assured that the government will not let Pakistan play its evil games.

Chugh exposed the self-serving politics of the Abdullah, Mufti, and Gandhi-Nehru families, who threw people of Jammu and Kashmir into the burning flames to serve their own interests. He highlighted how these families ignored the plight of Jammu and Kashmir during the 1990 massacres and instead pushed the region towards further turmoil.
