As per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), during this period, voters can file objections and claims from July 25 to August 9, with resolutions expected by August 19. The final voter list is anticipated to be released by August 20.

The number of polling stations is set to increase compared to previous Lok Sabha elections. To accommodate more than 1,500 voters per station, provisions for setting up two polling stations will be made. An election official noted that Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and other related staff are actively engaged in special summary activities. This will include correcting address related errors in the voter list, improving photo quality in voter lists, expanding the control table including setting the boundaries of polling stations, preparing formats 1 and 8. The draft list will be prepared on July 1, 2024. The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) will address claims and objections on weekends.
