SMHS Hospital Steps Up: 6,000 Lab Tests Conducted Daily to Meet Patient Needs

Srinagar: SMHS Hospital is demonstrating its commitment to patient care by providing a remarkable level of service. The hospital averages 3,000 consultations and patient care services daily in its OPD and Casualty departments.

“On the OPD side, we evaluate around 500 samples daily and conduct 6,000 tests,” an official shared in a recent post. “These tests are also being conducted for our IPD patients.”

The hospital’s dedication to patient care is evident in its round-the-clock lab services, available to IPD, OPD, and Casualty patients. “Some sections of our dedicated lab (Block F) operate from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a half-hour break, which our staff rarely takes due to the high influx of patients,” the official added.

The lab boasts a dedicated staff and fully automated equipment, ensuring the highest quality service for patients. “We are committed to providing the best possible care,” the official emphasized.

This commitment to quality healthcare is a testament to the dedication of the Government Medical College and its associated hospitals. “We are constantly striving to improve our services and meet the needs of our patients,” the official concluded.
