Kulgam: At Least eight tourists were injured in a road accident at Nipora area of Qazigund in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday afternoon.
An official told VOI that a scorpio bearing registration number PB47F 8687- hit a tree at Nipora area of Qazigund on Srinagar-Jammu national highway road, resulting in the injury to eight tourists.
The injured were immediately taken to nearby hospital for treatment where two among them are said to be in critical condition.
Incharge Police Post Mirbazar, Toser Ah Khan also confirmed the incident and said a case has been registered and further investigation has been taken up in this regard.
