Srinagar: To prevent an illegal extraction and transportation of minerals, the Geology & Mining Department Pulwama along with Flood Control Department Kakapora on Tuesday dug the narrow channels formed along river bodies in Samboora village.
An official from the Geology and Mining Department Pulwama told the news agency CNS that the drive was carried out along with Flood and Control Department Kakapora during a visit to several areas in Pulwama.
