Two persons injured after attacked by bear in Anantnag

 

Srinagar: Two persons were injured after they were being attacked by a bear in Dooru area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday.

An official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that a bear appeared in village Chairkadi Dooru near forest and attacked and injured two persons.

He identified them as  Ab. Rashid son of  Mohd yousuf Hajam resident of Kapran at present Dooru and Bashir Ahmad Wagay Son of Gh Hassan Wagay resident of Agnoo.

He said that both were later taken to Model Hospital Dooru where from Ab Rashid Hajam has been referred to Srinagar for further treatment.

Meanwhile the wildlife department has been informed about  the presence of bear in the area and they have reached the spot in this regard.
