Srinagar: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday paid tributes to the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi, on his death anniversary.
In a post on X he said, “Humble tributes to Father of the Nation, Pujya Mahatma Gandhi, on his Punyatithi. His life & ideals are [an] abiding source of inspiration for humanity.”
“On Martyrs’ Day, homage to all great leaders, who laid their lives for the Nation. Their vision will forever live on in our hearts,” added LG in the post.
Indian political leaders from across the party lines have paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi, who was assassinated on this day in 1948.
