Jawahar Institute of Mountaineering and Winter Sports triumphs in Natural Ice Wall Climbing Competition 

 

Srinagar: The Jawahar Institute of Mountaineering and Winter Sports reached new heights of success on Sunday, concluding the highly challenging Natural Ice Wall Climbing Competition in the breathtaking locale of Pahalgam. Colonel Hem Chandra Singh, the esteemed Principal of the institute, commended the enthusiastic participation of Jammu and Kashmir’s youth in this demanding event.

Addressing the participants, Colonel Singh expressed his pride in the local youth’s dedication to adventure sports and announced plans to organize more thrilling activities in the picturesque Kashmir region in the future. He emphasized the crucial role of channeling youthful energy towards constructive pursuits and encouraged the participants to engage in nation-building activities.

During his address, Colonel Hem Chandra Singh underscored the immense potential within the youth of Jammu and Kashmir, asserting their capability to compete globally in the field of adventure sports. His vision for fostering a culture of adventure and exploration resonated with the audience, setting the stage for future endeavors.

The closing ceremony and prize distribution, hosted within the institute premises, added a celebratory touch to the event. Zeeshan Mushtaq, a native of Srinagar, emerged as the fastest climber, showcasing exceptional skill and determination. Mudasir Ahmad Malik closely followed, displaying remarkable prowess in the competition.

As the Natural Ice Wall Climbing Competition concluded on a high note, the event not only celebrated the spirit of adventure but also served as a platform to recognize and reward the outstanding achievements of the participants.
