Baramulla, Jan 23: Cracking a whip on illegal mining of minerals at Juhama & Darpora Kynzer Baramulla, the Baramulla Police seized Excavator, three tractor besides arresting four drivers.
The Police initiated the action under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Baramulla, SDPO Tangmarg assisted by SHO PS Kunzer & IC PP Delina
The police seized 1 Excavator, 3 Tractors & arrested 4 drivers namely Fayaz Ahmad Sofi son of Ghulam Mohiuddin, Parvaiz Ahmad Sofi son of Abdul Rehman both residents of Juhama Baramulla, Tariq Ahmad Bhat son of Bashir Ahmad resident of Devpora & Waseem Ahmad Reshi son of Ab Ahad resident of Pariswani.
The drivers alongwith their vehicles were found involved in illegal extraction/ transportation of minerals and accordingly cases FIR under relevant sections of law were registered in Police Station Baramulla & Kunzer against them and investigations taken up.
