Poonch Accident: Soldier Succumbs To Injuries


Poonch: A soldier injured after an army vehicle plunged into a gorge in Poonch has succumbed at a hospital, an official said.

The official told GNS that an army vehicle plunged into a deep gorge at Chira Wala Morh in Kosaliyan resulting in injuries to two on-board army men namely Pritam Singh and Abdul Manan.

“The duo was evacuated to the MI room from where they were referred to Army Hospital 93 Brigade Poonch, where one among the two namely Pritam Singh succumbed to his injuries”, the official said.

“The other injured soldier is largely stable and responding well to the treatment”, the official added.
