Mumbai: The Rupee on Thursday gained further by four paise at 82.99 in opening session on selling of US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said.
The local unit was seen strong because of weak Dollar against other world currencies along with robust equity market in early trade.
The Rupee recorded intra days high and low at 82.97 and 83.04 respectively, dealer added.
