Premier Energies bags Rs 1700 cr solar module supply order from NTPC

New Delhi: Premier Energies on Tuesday said that it has secured a solar module supply order from state-run power major NTPC for Nokh Solar PV Project in Rajasthan.

“The order, valued at approximately Rs 1,700 crore is for supplying Bifacial solar PV modules for NTPC’s Nokh Solar PV Project in Rajasthan. The supply is expected to be completed in a span of 9 months,” the company said in a statement.

Premier Energies’ Bifacial Solar PV modules are manufactured at the company’s 40 acre state-of-the-art facility in Hyderabad and are designed to maximize energy generation and enhance overall project efficiency and output.

With an annual module capacity of 4GW (& cell capacity of 2GW) the company is dedicated to developing world class indigenous solar cells and modules and to significantly contributing towards the ‘Make in India’ manufacturing initiative.

Commenting on the development, Chiranjeev Saluja, Managing Director of Premier Energies said, “Our Collaboration with NTPC is a significant milestone. As a solar pioneer, our journey over the years echoes the story of precision in product quality, consistent performance and the rock-solid reliability ingrained within our Solar PV Modules.”
