India Pakistan trade fire along LoC,One killed in Indian shelling: Pakistan

Srinagar, Nov 13, KNT: Atmosphere reverberated with heavy shelling and firing in different sectors of North Kashmir along Line of Control on Friday.

Official sources told KNT that Pakistan Rangers resorted to massive shelling and firing in Tad Sector of Gurez Bandipora, Panzan Kupwara and Uri Sectors of North Kashmir.

They said due to heavy firing and shelling, locals ran for safety and hid themselves in bunkers.

The Indian Army “responded effectively” and the exchange of shelling were going on till the filing of this report.

The official said that due to heavy shelling, Tangdhar market was closed and residents were evacuated to safer places.

Meanwhile, Pakistan alleged that Indian troopers resorted to cross LoC shelling resulting in the death of a local and injuries to three others including a woman.

A tweet from ISPR said that Indian troops opened unprovoked fire in the Rakhchikri and Khanjar sectors targeted civilians with mortars and rockets. (KNT)
