Srinagar: The Mughal road continues to be closed for vehicular movement and the traffic on the Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri (SSG) road was not released due to the snow accumulation and slippery conditions of surface, respectively, said the J&K Traffic Police on Saturday morning.

As per the news agency CNS, the officials said that the accumulation of snow on the Mughal road forced the closure of it for vehicular movement and slippery conditions of the SSG Road has made it impossible for them to release the traffic.

Regarding the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44), they said that the traffic is smoothly plying both ways on it.
