Police Attached Property of Notorious Drug Peddler In Handwara

Handwara : Continuing its action against drug peddlers Handwara Police today on 2nd day of *Seizure/Attachment Drive* attached 2nd Property I.e *Land measuring 07 Marlas* belonging to a notorious drug peddler namely Fayaz Ahmad Malla Son of Gh. Mohi-ud-Din Malla resident of Muqam Himwanpora Kralgund Handwara under section 68-Fof NDPS Act 1985.

The said peddler is found involved in below mentioned NDPS cases:

1.Case FIR No.67/2020 U/S 8/21 NDPS Act of PS Kralgund.

2.Case FIR No. 73/2022 U/S 8/21 NDPS Act of PS Kralgund.

The property was identified as illegally acquired property during the course of Investigation/Enquiry conducted by Handwara Police. The property was prima facie accrued from illicit trafficking in Narcotic drug and Psychotropic Substances by the owner.

The notorious drug peddler is currently detained under PIT-NDPS Act and is lodged at Central Jail Kot Balwal Jammu.

This operation reaffirms the commitment of Handwara Police to combat the drug menace. Local people of the area hailed the initiative of Handwara Police with regard to the attachment of immovable properties which has been raised/ used from illicit trafficking of narcotics by the drug peddler in the Police District Handwara.
