Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Continues in District Bandipora

Additional Secretary PMO attends activities in Gurez

 Srinagar: As part of the ongoing nationwide Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra campaign, Additional Secretary to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Punya Salila Srivastava, paid a visit to Dawar, Gurez, in Bandipora District today. Smt. Srivastava was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Owais Ahmed along with many other dignitaries.

The visit, encompassing a series of programs, showcased the different government schemes propagated through various stalls installed by different government departments. Smt. Srivastava participated in the cultural festivities as well as gained insights of the remote area while interacting with the natives.

Punya’s visit aimed not only to assess the implementation but also to encourage participation and gather on-ground feedback, implemented with `whole of Government’ approach with active participation and involvement of the State Governments, District authorities, Urban Local Bodies and Gram Panchayats.

 

The event, themed under Hamara Sankalp Viksit Bharat, underscored the administration’s dedication to ensuring widespread awareness and accessibility to government schemes, to boost the goal of a developed India.
