Ganderbal: On the directions of SSP Ganderbal Nikhil Borkar-IPS, acting tough against the social crimes, Ganderbal Police arrested Four Gamblers in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kheerbawani and Seized Stake money, Playing Cards from their possession.
On specific information about Gambling activities at public place at Rampora, the Police Party headed by SHO PS Kheerbawani Inspector Lateef Ali raided the gambling site and arrested 04 Gamblers on the spot. They have been identified as Fayaz Ahmad Ganie S/O Ali Mohd Ganie R/O Rampora, Muzaffar Ahmad Danga S/O Bashir Ahmad Danga R/O Patirampora, Kaisar Ahmad Bhat S/O Ghulam Mohammad Bhat R/O Saloora & Mehraj-Ud -Din Parray S/O Abdul Razaq Parray R/O Ladwina.
Officers have seized stake money of Rs.4400/- & playing cards from their possession. Accordingly, Case FIR No. 67/2023, under relevant sections of law registered at Police Station Kheer Bhawani and investigation taken up.
