Ganderbal: Police arrested drug peddler alongwith Contraband Substance in Safapora at Ganderbal.
On the directions of SSP Ganderbal Nikhil Borkar-IPS under the supervision of Dy.SP Hqr’s Ganderbal, Police Party led by SHO PS Safapora laid Naka at Asham-Safapora crossing. During checking one Motorcyclist after seeing naka party tried to flee away from the spot, but due to the timely action by naka party, the said person was apprehended.
During his personal search, Contraband Substance was recovered from his possession. The accused person disclosed his identity as Yasir Hassan Parray S/O Gh Hassan Parray R/O Parray Mohalla Asham Bandipora.
The recovered Contraband Substance was seized & the accused was arrested.In this regard Case FIR No. 38/2023, under relevant sections of law stands registered at PS Safapora & investigation taken up.
