Next year’s Lok Sabha Polls: BJP to start massive outreach program in JK UT

Srinagar : In preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Jammu and Kashmir unit is all set to launch an extensive outreach campaign in the Union Territory.
A senior BJP leader said that the program, which is likely to begin in coming days, aims to connect with the masses and garner support as the political landscape in the country begins to evolve with the approach of the 2024 elections.
The BJP, which has been in power since 2014, is now focusing its energies on a mass contact program, recognizing the importance of grassroots mobilization and engagement to secure a successful electoral outcome.
“The outreach campaign is expected to be multifaceted, encompassing various activities and initiatives, all aimed at connecting with citizens from all walks of life. BJP leaders and volunteers will embark on a journey to reach out to the electorate, seeking to understand their concerns and preferences,” said the leader.
In addition to personal interactions, the campaign will leverage the power of technology and social media platforms to amplify the BJP’s message and agenda.
Furthermore the BJP leader said that the campaign will likely feature a series of rallies and events across the Union territory, providing an opportunity for BJP leaders to convey their vision and ideas to a broad audience. These events are expected to be high-energy affairs, serving as platforms for articulating the party’s vision and progress in the last few years.
“The BJP’s outreach program will be closely monitored and led by prominent party leaders, including key figures at both the national and the local level. It’s anticipated that their active involvement will add momentum to the campaign and contribute to a more direct and impactful connection with the electorate,” he told news agency KNS.
With the announcement of this large-scale outreach initiative, the BJP is signaling its intent to take a proactive approach in shaping the narrative and garnering support in the run-up to the Lok Sabha elections in 2024.
Meanwhile sources within the BJP told KNS that multiple BJP leaders, including the top lot, are slated to make their way to Jammu and Kashmir in the coming weeks to attend the political rallies.
If reports are to be believed then PM Narendra Modi, Home minister Amit Shah and BJP president JP Nadda will visit J&K Union Territory.
The reports said that these top BJP leaders will address rallies in both Jammu and Kashmir regions of the Union Territory.
While specific itineraries for these visits have not been officially disclosed, sources said, it is expected that besides the political engagements, the leaders will focus on several key agendas and objectives.
Sources said that the BJP leaders are likely to engage with local BJP political workers and the leaders. “The BJP has consistently emphasized its commitment to the development and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir. During their visits, party leaders may review the progress of various developmental projects and discuss strategies to boost economic growth in the region,” sources said.
Sources said that the BJP National Chief  JP Nadda has asked party leaders to launch a ‘house to house’ campaign to reach out to people and build “emotional connect” with them.
“Party members should discuss issues with the people, understand their problems and help them address their concerns”, he had said, according to a party leader.
It is to be mentioned here that the Union Home Minister Amit Shah has already asked the Core Group of J&K Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to get ready for the parliamentary polls to ensure a consecutive third term for the party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Amit Shah has also directed the senior party leaders to direct their energy to take the central government’s public welfare schemes and programmes to the masses.
